Declining America or Resurgent Superpower?
Past Events
A conversation between James C. Bennett and Zoltán Gálik.

In his book, America 3.0, James C. Bennett argues that the U.S. is currently in the midst of a dramatic transition to a new technological and political configuration. Technology will drive the transition, but the shape of future technology can only be known in broad outline. However, the cultural foundation of America will remain intact. The nation’s deeply rooted orientation towards personal and economic freedom will ensure its transition to a freer and more prosperous America: it's best days lie ahead.

Benenett's lecture has been followed by a response from Zoltán Gálik. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs and Associate Professor at Corvinus University (Institute of International Studies).

The conversation between the two experts took place at the Corvinus University on the 26th March 2014.
