Ibrahim Mammadov is the Head of Turkic-Western Engagement Initiative. Previously, he served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Danube Institute, Research Fellow at the Caucasian Center for International Relations and Strategic Studies (QAFSAM), Young Scholar at the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD), and Research Assistant at the Caucasus Policy Analysis Center (CPAC) in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is a Doctoral student at the Ludovika University of Public Service and finalised his MA in International Relations studies at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. He obtained his BA in International Studies from ADA University in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ibrahim is the founder and current director of the voluntary Young Eurasian Scholars Network (YESN), which unites young researchers and enthusiasts interested in various regions of the Eurasian continent under one platform. His research articles have been published on esteemed platforms such as The National Interest, CABAR.asia under the Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR), the Astana Times, Commonspace.eu under the LINKS platform, the Institute for Development and Diplomacy Publications, and The Hungarian Conservative, among others. His main areas of expertise include Eurasian affairs, focusing on Eastern European, Central Asian, and Southern Caucasus regions.
