Darren G. Spinck is co-founder and managing director of the Janus Forum, a New York-based transatlantic platform integrating three core pillars: Janus Research, Political Risk Analysis, and Strategic Advisory, bridging policy analysis with commercial strategy.

He was previously a research fellow at the Henry Jackson Society (HJS), a UK-based geopolitical think tank. His research has focused on U.S.-UK relations, transatlantic economic statecraft, strategic competition, and economic connectivity across the Indo-Pacific, Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and Central and Eastern Europe. He has authored multiple reports for HJS’s Centre for Indo-Pacific Studies and Centre for Transatlantic Strategy, including three recent publications: Understanding Kazakhstan’s Strategic Importance: A Middle Power Partner for the UK in Central Asia (December 2024) and Advancing the U.S.-UK ‘Special Relationship’ During the Second Trump Presidency (April 2025), and A UK Strategy for Deterrence and Supply Chain Resiliency in the Indo-Pacific (September 2025).

Darren is also the managing partner of Washington Consulting Solutions, a public affairs and political risk consultancy. He advises domestic and international clients on strategic communications, public diplomacy, sanctions risk, export controls, and geopolitical trends affecting trade and investment. His commentary has appeared in Fox News, Politico, Hungarian Conservative, American Conservative, The Daily Express, The Times, NTD Television, The National Interest, CapX, and The Sunday Guardian (India), among others. He has authored policy briefs for European think tanks including Croatia’s Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), Ukraine’s Eastern Europe Security Institute (EESI), and the UK’s Civitas.

Darren is a frequent speaker at international conferences, including the Danube Institute Geopolitical Summit, Krynica and Karpacz (Poland) Economic Forums, the Europe–Ukraine Forum (Rzeszow, Poland), the Reagan-Jackson Security Dialogue (Cambridge, UK), the Astana Think Tank Forum, and the Astana International Forum.
