Dr. Bernd Ströhm

Dr. Bernd Christoph Ströhm is Country Expert and Senior Research Associate at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies and Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. In addition, he is a Senior Fellow at the European Centre for International Political Economy. His main research interests include Soviet / Russian dissent, China’s and Russia’s geoeconomic and geopolitical influence in Central and South-Eastern Europe, the economic and political development of the Western Balkans, and the Western Balkans’ EU accession prospects.
