Call for Papers

The Austrian Economics Meeting Europe is an annual conference which aims at providing a forum for young scholars in the Austrian tradition to present their current research and exchange and debate their ideas.

The next meeting will be held at the Danube Institute in Budapest, Hungary, from April 27 to 29, 2018.

We invite young scholars who are interested in presenting their research at the meeting to send us abstracts of their papers. We especially encourage submissions by graduate students and early career researchers, but exceptions may be made for undergraduate submissions.

The Austrian Economics Meeting Europe is an interdisciplinary conference, and as such, there is no set theme or field of study for submissions, as long as they stand broadly in the Austrian tradition. Previous presentations have covered a wide range of topics, from archaeology, history, philosophy, political sciences, and, of course, economics. A selection of papers from our previous meetings can be found on our website.

The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2018

Please send your abstracts over the contact widget on our website www.aem-europe.com.

Registration for the conference will open in January.

We would like to thank the Danube Institute in Budapest for their kind support in organising the conference.
