The Danube Institute invites you to an insightful half-day conference on the shifting dynamics of the Indo-Pacific in the context of the intensifying Sino-US rivalry. While China with its emerging military might aspires to become a superpower, the strategic partnership of Australia, India, Japan and the United States, the Quad may have the potential to contain it.

Regarding international trade and investment, while China's Belt and Road Initiative has been playing a pivotal role in Southeast Asia throughout the past decade, the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework initiated by the United States, and India's Act East Policy aims to counter it.
