Uncomfortable Truths: The Reality of Gender Identity Ideology

Join us May 6th at the Danube Institue for a screening of the first episode of the documentary series Uncomfortable Truths: The Reality of Gender Identity Ideology. This series features advice from experts and commentators around the world like Sue Evans (Tavistock whistle blower), Helen Joyce, Stella O’Malley, Buck Angel, Colin Wright, and many more. Episode one lays out gender ideology in plain terms and helps people navigate its confusing language. It also offers alternative explanations for why so many young people get caught up in the trans contagion and what contributes to the experience of gender distress.

This is Travis Brown's latest docuseries released by his non-profit, The Signal Education Project, and by the international organization Genspect, and produced by Danube Institute. Uncomfortable Truths is the culmination of years of research from around the globe, attending conferences, reading both sides of the arguments, and interviewing dozens of insightful guests. Travis was drawn to investigate gender ideology after noticing many traits it shared in common with the controlling religious environment he grew up in. Though he left his religion behind, he recognizes the useful role religion can play in stemming the tide of gender ideology while also wondering if it's up to the task.

The screening will be followed by a brief discussion with Travis Brown and Rod Dreher on the need for meaning in life, how this contributes to the trans phenomenon, and whether or not traditional religion can solve these problems we face. A Q&A session will follow.
