The Return and Transformation of Geopolitics - Panel 3
THIRD PANEL: The Return of Geopolitics: Eurasia
The third panel of our geopolitical conference provided an interesting global perspective on #Eurasia, which was offered by speakers from four different nations. Professor Madhav Nalapat speaking from India talked about the possible emergence of regional unipolar worlds. Michael Doran, former senior director in the White House, and Tony Abbott, former Prime Minister of Australia offered their own thoughts, with part of the discussion focused on China and the one Belt one Road program. Former Ambassador János Hóvári provided a fascinating PowerPoint about the Turkic nations of Central Asia and the Hungarian Sinologist Dr. Gergely Salát held a presentation on China also from an original perspective.
