Dániel Farkas

Daniel is a historian. He received his master’s degree in modern political and military history from the Károli Gáspár University of Budapest. He is now a PhD student at the university’s doctoral school, focusing on the Cold War-era networks of Hungary and Latin America. Daniel’s research areas at the Danube Institute concentrate on Hungary’s place in globalization processes, its underlying geopolitical choices, and Central Europe’s relations with Latin America.
