The adoption of the Golden Bull in 1222 was an important milestone in Hungary's constitutional development. The document, which is 800 years old this year, shows that the country's constitutional traditions go back a long history. To mark the 800th anniversary, the Danube Institute is organizing a round table discussion with international speakers on national constitutions and constitutional identity.
