Veres Kristóf György

Kristóf György Veres holds a PhD in history from Eötvös Loránd University. Earlier he was a senior researcher at the Budapest-based Migration Research Institute. Starting in September 2021, he worked for 14 months for the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington D.C. as an Andrássy National Security Fellow. During his career he has given conference presentations in English, French and Hungarian, his writings have been published in The National Interest, Newsweek, The Washington Examiner, and Think Global Health. His research focuses on migration as well as Ukrainian refugees and IDPs.
