800 Years of the Golden Bull – Panel on Constitutions and National Identity

The adoption of the Golden Bull in 1222 was an important milestone in Hungary's constitutional development. The document, which is 800 years old this year, shows that the country's constitutional traditions go back a long history. To mark the 800th anniversary, the Danube Institute has organised a round table discussion with international speakers on national constitutions and constitutional identity.

Speakers:
- Alvino Mario Fantini, Editor-in-Chief of the European Conservative
- Prof. Ferenc Hörcher (University of Public Service) – The History of the Hungarian Constitution
- Dr. Ofir Haivry (Danube Institute) – Israel National identity and Constitutional Law
- Jorge Gonzales (Uncommon Decency Podcast) – Spanish constitutional debate between Francoism and Federalism
- Helene de Lauzun (European Conservative) – The “Monarchist” Constitution of the Fifth French Republic
