Constitutional Law Scholar Professor James Allan will talk about what motivates written constitutionalism and its merits and flaws, which is the theme of his forthcoming book entitled, “The Age of Foolishness: A Doubter’s Guide to Constitutionalism in a Modern Democracy".

Prof. James Allan will then turn to discuss constitutional interpretation in the anglosphere world and how so many judges have adopted wholly unconstrained approaches.
