The victory of Karol Nawrocki has opened an important new chapter for Central Europe. President Nawrocki’s strong emphasis on national sovereignty, traditional values, and pragmatic realism toward Brussels creates a window of opportunity for a genuine revival of the Visegrád Group.
From the perspective of Poland, the V4 is not just one of many formats – it is the natural and most effective platform for defending Central European interests in the European Union. With a Polish president who shares fundamental positions with the current governments in Prague, Bratislava, and Budapest on issues such as migration, the defence of the traditional family, resistance to excessive climate ambitions, and energy sovereignty, the conditions for a powerful V4 comeback are better than they have been in years. Our speakers will be discussing the opportunities and challenges of coordinated action on European policy, the possibility of a unified Central European voice, and the obstacles facing the V4 in a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape.
